New Tourist Campaign Set to Begin in Chiang Rai

09 December 2019

Chiang Rai authorities, in cooperation with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thailand Post and Art Bridge Chiang Rai, have announced the Art on Mailbox Project, aimed at luring more tourists to the region and spreading awareness of its authenticity.

Fifteen mailboxes marked with QR codes will be placed at the most popular tourist attractions provincewide. Each mailbox will be decorated with a unique pattern reflecting the identity of the area. Visitors are encouraged to check in and take photos with five mailboxes at different locations in at least two different districts and share them on social media in order to win a prize.

The project will kick off on 15 December 2019 and continue until 31 January 2020.
