Location
Made up of a small bit of mainland along 119 km of the Andaman Sea and 46 islands, Trang province is found in Thailand’s south, on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula. Approximately 830 km from Bangkok, a flight, which takes less than an hour-and-a-half, is the most convenient way to travel.
The nearest major international airport is located in Krabi, which services flights from Bangkok, Koh Samui, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur.

Fans of nature and the antiquities will find that this is the province for them, as Trang is known for its fabulous jungle waterfalls and caves, and ancient Buddhist temples. Often seen not far off the coast are the official mammals of Thailand – the dugongs, who often congregate on or near Koh Libong.
