Bangkok Airways will launch new direct service between the Thai capital and Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam starting 29 October. The flight will operate four times a week from Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Aimed at meeting a high demand, the new route is expected to contribute to tourism development in both countries.
It should be noted that the United Nations aviation regulator has removed Thailand from its list of countries red-flagged for safety concerns, which triggered a well-justified hope for making the Kingdom an aviation hub in the Southeast Asia.
