The Blue Andaman Happiness festival will be held Khao Lak, a popular resort in Phang Nga province on 17-19 November. The event kicks off Thailand’s traditional peak tourism season.
The festival includes the reopening of the Mu Ko Surin and Mu Ko Similan national parks, which are closed to the public during the low season to allow them to restore their ecological balance.
Initiated by the tourism authority, the festival will features cooking shows, music performances, food fairs, and a beauty contest.
