Millions of travelers annually flock to Thailand seeking unrivalled gourmet experience that only the Kingdom can offer.
Buying street food in Bangkok is now as easy as pie – and you even do not have to pay for the goodies in cash. You only need to scan the vendor’s QR code using your smartphone. Five major Thai banks support the project.
Not all street food vendors accept electronic payments yet. Most of the “digitalized” vendors can be found on Phahon Yothin street and in Samyan market. Online transactions usually range from 5 to 70 baht (or US $0.15 to US $2.11 USD) depending on the food.
