The annual Phanom Rung Historical Park Festival will take place in Buriram province from 30 March to 1 April, with opening ceremonies to be held on 31 March.
Organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in cooperation with the government’s Fine Arts department, the event celebrates a unique natural phenomenon where the rays of the rising sun come through all of the Phanom Rung Khmer temple’s 15 doorways.
Visitors are invited to enjoy spectacular light and sound shows, as well as a grand procession and Apsara dance performances.
