Football fans across Thailand will be able to enjoy free live broadcasts of all 64 matches of the 2018 World Cup hosted by Russia, said Gen Prawit Wongsuwon, deputy prime minister and president of the Sports Authority of Thailand Commission.
During a news conference on 11 June, Wongsuwon said that the THB 14 billion needed to purchase the broadcasting rights was raised with the help of nine large private sector organizations, including PTT Global Chemical, Kasikorn Bank, and King Power International. In the Kingdom, TV coverage is shared by True4U (Channel 24), Amarin TV (Channel 34) and Channel 5.
The Championship will continue until 15 July.
