Bangkok´ celebrated Dusit Zoo, otherwise known as Khao Din Wana, will close at the end of August and relocate to Pathum Thani province.
The zoo’s new home will be three times as large as the existing park. It is a gift from HM the King. Construction of the new facility is still underway, so animals will be temporarily transferred to six other zoos across the country: Chonburi’s Khao Keow, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Songkhla, Ubon Ratchathani and Khon Kaen.
