Bangkok residents and visitors have one month to say goodbye to the residents of Dusit Zoo before it moves. The relocation of the Kingdom’s largest zoo has been postponed until 30 September.
The capital´s celebrated zoo will relocate to Pathum Thani province. The zoo’s new home will be three times larger as the existing park, and is a gift from HM the King. However, since the construction has not been completed, animals will be temporarily transferred to six other zoos across the Kingdom: Chonburi’s Khao Keow, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Songkhla, Ubon Ratchathani and Khon Kaen.
