Bangkok to Celebrate Car-Free Day

Car-Free Day will be celebrated in Bangkok on 22 September. Part of a global initiative, the event promotes greater use of public transport instead of private cars to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and traffic jams. On that day, Bangkokians and visitors to the capital are encouraged to support the campaign and contribute to a healthier environment.
