Two new viewpoints commanding sweeping views over the lush jungled countryside have recently been opened in Ratchaburi province. Stamp Hill Nern Thanon Phapok and Wat Chonglom Song in the Suan Pueng area overlooking Tanao Sri Mountain Range have gained huge popularity among nature lovers and eco-minded tourists. People often come to the viewpoints at dawn to admire the peaks shrouded in the mist and the first rays of the sun.
The Wat Chonglom Song temple is nestled amidst a forest, near the Lam Pha Shi Canal. Apart from rare plant species, visitors may see a 9-meter tall statue of Ganesh and a statue of Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy.
To get to this fascinating and serene place, take Highway 3087. It is only 9.7 kilometers from Suan Pueng district.
