The annual Pomelo Fair in Chai Nat will be held between 13 and 22 September for the 36th time in a row.
The world’s largest citrus fruit can weigh up to 2 kg, and pomelo trees can grow up to 15 m high. Pomelos are widely used in the Thai cuisine. They go well with seafood and chicken, and their thick skin can be candied or turned into marmalade. Pomelo flowers make beautiful altar offerings and gifts. Due to its healing qualities, the pomelo also enjoys wide application in medicine and cosmetics.
