Artid Nima, a renowned Nakhon Sawan-based photographer, has reported spotting three flocks of rare red-necked hornbills, also known as rufous-necked hornbills and wreathed hornbills, 30 birds each.
The 894 sqm Mae Wong National Park located 370 km to the north of Bangkok is home to many rare bird species and is one of the best places for birdwatching. However, before they proceed to the spots, birdwatchers are required to register with conservation officials at the Mae Wong station.
