Following the government’s decision to include Nakhon Ratchasima, popularly known as Korat, along with Krabi and Chiang Mai, in the list of the Kingdom’s pilot cities for the arts, the local Culture Office has invited more than 30 graffiti artists to engage in a unique project “Korat: the art city”.
When completed, the 49-meter-long colorful wall is set to become the longest graffiti work in Northeast Thailand.
Korat has also been designated to host the 2nd Thailand Biennale, an international contemporary art exhibition, that is held twice a year.
