Bangkok’s municipal authorities are planning to transform some of the city’s famous klongs (canals) into new tourist attractions. As the King Lord Klong got a facelift in May to become a popular hang-out venue, more canals are now set for revamping. In response to increasing demand for boat rides and excursions, that provide an immersive experience of the natural and cultural beauty of Bangkok, new canal tours are now being developed.
