At least 12 people were killed after a powerful explosion in the center of Bangkok. Several dozens of people were wounded. The incident occurred about 20:00 in the downtown of the Thai capital.
Tragedy took place not far from the Erawan Shrine, close to a five-star hotel. The blast wave has affected people, who were near the temple at the moment of explosion, the BBC reports.
According to the police, they have found another explosive device on the scene, but luckily it failed to explode. Evacuation of people from the city center continues, as well as the search of other bombs.
