Starting from November 13 guests of the Kingdom will be able to receive six-month multiple tourist visas. Travelers will be allowed to stay in Thailand not longer than 60 days in a row. Then they need to leave the country, but they can come back to Thailand not more than twice for a period of less than 60 days, before the visa expires, according to the Ministry of foreign affairs. The reason for innovation is the desire to simplify the travels, which will support the development of international tourism in Thailand.
The cost of semi-annual visa is 5000 baht. Earlier tourists could stay on the territory of the country not longer than 30 days.
