Tachai Island Closed for Tourists

Koh Tachai, a small island in the Similan National Park off Phangnga province, will be off limits to tourists beginning 15 October, Thai authorities report. The closure will permit restoration of the island’s unique environment and eliminate the impact of tourism on its natural resources.
