Thailand’s tourism boom has translated into high demand for hotel rooms throughout the Kingdom. That demand has been accentuated in three areas, according to online travel agency Expedia.com.
Demand for hotel accommodations have been strongest in Chaing Rai, Pattaya and Hua Hin. In these cities, hotel sales have increased by 70%, 60% and 40% respectively.
Renowned for its unspoiled forests and lush greenery, Chiang Rai appeals to nature lovers. Pattaya is known for the country’s most vibrant nightlife, and Hua Hin enjoys a reputation as a royal resort.
