Swissotel and Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, together with Nusasiri PLC, a leading Thai development company, have agreed to launch new Mövenpick-branded properties in Bangkok, Khao Yai and Phuket. The first two properties may open by year-end, while the hotel in Phuket will debut in the last quarter of 2017. Once open, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts will manage seven hotels in the Kingdom. Bangkok's Mövenpick Residences Ekkamai will offer 160 serviced one- two- and three-bedroom apartments. Amenities will include a restaurant, lobby lounge and rooftop bar, as well as meeting space, a swimming pool and fitness center. Mövenpick Resort Mai Khao in Phuket will offer 220 guest rooms and amenities including a restaurant, beach club, kids’ club, three swimming pools, a spa center and more. The Mövenpick Resort in Khao Yao will include 114 guest rooms and two-, three- and four-bedroom villas. The hotel will also feature an all-day dining restaurant, lobby bar, café, meeting space, swimming pool, a fitness center and spa.
