Thailand is building on its success as a host for local, regional, and international sporting events, firmly establishing itself as a sports hub with a reputation as an ideal holiday destination for sports lovers.
Apart from the Air Race 1 event that Thailand will later this year and the Air Race 1 World Cup to be held next year, a number of exciting championships and tournaments are coming to the Kingdom. They include:
- Phuket Laguna Triathlon (20 November 2016, Phuket)
- Princess Cup 2016 for Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing (25–27 November, Bangkok)
- 2016 Ironman 70.3 Thailand (27 November 2016, Phuket)
- Jet Ski World Cup (2–4 December, Pattaya)
- Phuket King’s Cup Regatta (3–10 December, Phuket)
- Chiang Mai Marathon (18 December, Chiang Mai)
- Bangkok Marathon (5 February 2017, Bangkok)
