Thailand’s tourism authority has launched a new quality standard, called 4Q. The program is intended to encourage tourism-related companies to improve service quality, operate legally, charge fair rates, and observe hygiene and safety regulations.
Companies that pass the 4Q certification evaluation will have proof of their legitimacy and proficiency.
By the end of February, about 10,000 tourism companies are expected to apply for 4Q certification on the agency’s website, or in person at provincial tourism and sports offices.
