A CNN survey of the world’s best cities for street food has crowned Bangkok for the second year running. Street-food meccas like Tokyo and Honolulu trailed the Thai capital.
Bangkok offers 24-hour sidewalk vendors and small cafes, and the variety of meals and drinks is a foodie’s dream. Local chefs say that the most popular dish in Bangkok is a crisp fried mussel pancake, and the best street food can be found in Chinatown, known locally as "Yarowat”.
