Thai Tourism Grew 11% in 2016

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), reported that in 2016 Thailand’s travel and tourism sector saw nearly 11% growth, making the Kingdom the world’s tenth-fastest growing country in the industry over the next decade. The report also said that in 2016, travel and tourism revenues amounted to THB 2.9 trillion, generating 5.7 million new jobs.
