Star Cruises, the world’s third largest cruise line will use Laem Chabang near Bangkok as the home port for its SuperStar Gemini liner beginning 17 December 2017 through 27 April 2018.
Making Laem Chabang a Star Cruise hub is expected to greatly benefit Thai tourism industry, the president of the Thai Travel Agents Association Suparerk Soorangura said.
The company’s successful history with Thailand dates back to 1995 when one of its liners first called on Phuket. Over these years, the cruise line has brought millions of foreign visitors to the Kingdom’s major resorts.
