A flamboyant Songkran procession will be staged in Bangkok on 8 April. The three-hour parade will go along Sukhumvit Road starting at 5:30 a.m. at Phrom Phong Junction. Designed to showcase the Kingdom’s stunning cultural diversity, the procession will include a number of shows, each focusing on a particular theme. Lavishly decorated with lights, flowers and colors, the parades will feature traditional shows representing different areas, as well as myths, legends and traditions.
