The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has rolled out the Tiew Thai Teh (Travel Thai Cool) campaign to persuade Thais to travel domestically. The TAT will involve popular bloggers, internet celebrities, and other social media influencers to promote the idea of exploring the country and experiencing its fascinating diversity by sampling local foods, visiting new places, getting acquainted with the customs and traditions of other regions, and pioneering fashion.
TAT Governor Yuthasak Supasorn says social media influencers can inspire young people who spend a lot of time online to travel more around the Kingdom.
