Next year, Samui Island will host Thailand Travel Mart, a large travel industry show organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Koh Samui Tourism Promotion Association, and private sector representatives.
The event is planned in line with the government’s efforts to promote tourism in each region of the Kingdom and support local tourism and hospitality services providers.
Thailand Travel Mart 2018 will bring together hotel and resort operators, travel agents and representatives of entertainment establishments from Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao, and is expected to generate billions of baht in revenues from tourism.
This year, the Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2017 will be held between 14 and 16 June in Chiang Mai. It will include a forum for tourism and hospitality industry professionals, research fellows, and college and university students from across North Thailand.
